Women’s Rugby World Cup, Aug 09th – Aug 26th 2017

The 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup will be proudly hosted in Ireland and held in Dublin and Belfast. With the women’s rugby growing around the world, the pool stages and the semi-finals will be held at University College Dublin and Belfast respectively.

Ireland have a great track record in tournament rugby, with them winning the 2013 Six Nations Grand Slam and creating one of the biggest upsets when they beat New Zealand in the pool stages of the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup. Their 2014 campaign came to an abrupt end when Ireland lost to the eventual winner, England.

New Zealand, England and the USA have held the trophy and with the Irish being hungrier and more determined, we are hopeful Ireland will bring home the trophy.
