McIlroy Claims European Top Spot For 2015
Irish golfer Rory McIlroy finished off the 2015 golf season in style by claiming the order of merit for the third time in four years.
The 26-year-old from County Down won the ‘Race to Dubai’ with victory in the DP World Tour Championship, earning almost £3 million for his efforts. McIlroy finshes the year as Europe’s top golfer once more.
This is a particularly impressive feat as it has been a tough enough year for the Ulsterman, as he was dragged into a lengthy court case with his former management team and suffered a two month injury layoff, costing him his defence of the British Open.

“I feel like my game and my putting has been gradually progressing throughout these last few weeks.”
